What a wonderful afternoon it was at the Summerland Winery tasting room. We had the pleasure of getting to know some of the event planners, photographers, and caterers in Santa Barbara County. We would love to host any and all events at our tasting room and we welcome you to look at our event packages. Photography: http://www.annadelores.com/ Catering: https://slatecatering.com/about/
We are so honored to announce that we were awarded Best Santa Barbara County Winery of the year from The Independents Best of Santa Barbara Reader’s Poll! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us! We truly appreciate all the love and support we get from our club members, customers, and friends. -Cheers from the Summerland Team
We are honored and proud to announce that we have been awarded FOUR medals from the 2016 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition! We have received two GOLD and two BRONZE medals this year. A little about the competition… Founded in 1983, The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is the largest wine competition of American wines in the world. The proceeds of the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition support the non-profit Cloverdale Citrus Fair and help support wine and food education …
It was another toasty and terrific year at the Ojai Wine Festival. If you missed coming out to see our beauties in person, you can relive the experience here. Emily and Christina had a fabulous time pouring some of our favorite varietals. We can’t wait to see you all come August!
Take a peek at our 2015 bloom! These vines have finished flowering but they are growing ever heavier with berry clusters. Whatever berries have set at this point will be the final grape harvest come September. We look poised for another great year!
What would wine be without its farmers? Summerland Winery is proud to be the sponsor of the Student Eco-Education and Agriculture dinner at the historic Camarillo Ranch tonight. Our wines will be paired with a three-course rustic, farm-to-table dinner that will be sure to knock your boots off. Proceeds go to continuing student education in the agricultural arts. So here is a big toast to all you humble farmers out there…many of whom probably don’t even know what Instagram is!
Summerland Winery rises from the ashes. We broke ground on construction late last week. The place probably looks a little different than you are used to, but that gives us lots of room to play with new decor. Any ideas from our fans?
